first pre board exam namin last february 13-14... yes valentine's day, sakit ng ulo ang inabot ko kakasabot ng questions sa exam...

and after one week of waiting... lumabas na ang results... nasa top 100 ako... 94th to be exact... grabe ang saya-saya ko... gusto ko sumigaw kasi lahat ng pagpupuyat ko nagbunga ng magandang resulta... habang nag-uumpisa pa lang yung review, sabi ko sa sarili ko since na 2nd review ko na ito at ang mga kasabayan ko ay puros first timers, dapat umangat ako... nakakahiya naman kung bagsak pa din ako ngayon... kaya nagaral ako ng mabuti... giving more attention to the subjects na talagang bagsak ako last board exams... and hindi naman ako nagkamali... okay naman ang resulta diba...

siguro nakatulong din sa akin ito kasi, may isa lang akong napansin sa sarili ko on those exam days... im confident na i can nail the exams... nung nakita ko na yung test paper ko, di ako nagpatalo sa kaba and sa idea na i would lose this battle... sagot lang ng sagot... ubusin ang alloted time para sa exam... napansin ko din yon sa mga previous exams ko sa undergrad, na kapag confident ako na hindi ako kinakabahan, matataas ang score ko... kasi alam ko yung pinag-aralan ko, naiintindihan ko...

nakakahiya man aminin, i also resorted to luck... diba chinese new year yung february 14... kaya lahat ng pwede kong isuot na color red, sinuot ko!!!!! nail polish ko red, undies ko red tapos shirt ko maroon (at least shade of red pa din)... and sabi nila bago sumapit ang chinese new year, magpa-make over ka... kaya ayon nagpafoot-spa, mani-pedi and haircut ako... hehehe... siguro hindi naman masama yon basta ang importante, i've done my part by studying my lessons well...

sana magpatuloy pa yung ganitong resulta hanggang board exam proper...

meeting her the second time

well the girl im referring to is my cousin (mother's side)... the first time we met was not that good (her mother was in a critical condition and chit-chatting and be in a happy mode is her the end of her list)... after more than a decade, we had a chance to meet... nanay texted me to meet her and invite her to our place (pampanga)...

we rode a bus going to pampanga and talked almost the whole travelling time and we had dinner at tempura with emilie...

meeting ate simone was an opportunity i may say... actually its a rate opportunity because she is from cebu and meeting as regular as we could would just be too costly... thanks to the technology - internet and cellfone... it really connects people...

valentine's day 2010

well kakaiba ang celebration ko ng v-day ngayon since na may exam ako ... pero hindi pwedeng matapos ang araw na hindi ko makikita ang taong pinakamamahal ko... of course valentines day ngayon... parang halo-halo ang araw na ito -special... a special day for a special person... ;p

simple lang ang date namin ni papa mike... dinner lang sa chinese resto... walang flowers ngayon eventhough i expected at first pero i do understand naman kasi cost cutting... siya ang bread winner sa bahay nila ngayon... kesa ibili pa nya ng bulaklak, ilaan na lang nya sa mas-importanteng bagay... there would always be next time and i believe there are other ways he could show that im special... not just by giving flowers...

review life the second time around

i'm in a review mode for the second time around for almost three months... compared to my previous review, i may strongly say that i improved... i am more focused... giving priority to the subjects which i had faillng grades... more patient in answering problems and more determined to finally fulfill my dream... as they say in Filipino "kung walang nilaga, walang aanihin", hopefully these hardships would have good results
